HUFFY Recycled Scrap Metal BMX Bison Sculpture

Birchfield Penney Art Gallery, 2021 “Media in Craft” Exhibition
Huffy is special because he was selected and has been part of the 2021 Birchfield Penney Art Gallery’s “Media in Craft” exhibition. See the attached video of Matt’s "Artist Discussion” he conducted at the gallery where he talks about his process and the making of Huffy. It was an honor to be amongst so many other fine artists.
Huffy is made from the frame of a vintage white BMX bike (with original white paint of course)...but he is even cooler than what the "cool" kids rode in the 80's. Combine that badass BMX frame with gears, snow shovels, sprockets, chair scraps and topped with a spark plug mane and you have one Funky bison. Your friends will be jealous and you will finally be the most rad kid on the block!
He is a good size (36" long x 26" high) floor sculpture or looks great on a corner mantel, hearth or fireplace. Huffy is built for indoor use. However, we can clearcoat him for one year of outdoor protection. A yearly clearcoat would be reamended if he is outside to prevent rusting.
This guy is HEAVY (approx. 50lbs). If your willing to pick up or close enough for us to deliver, we can possibly make an arrangement.
